![]() ![]() Or try remuxing "part1.m2ts" on it's own, then remux "part2.m2ts" on it's own (either as m2ts files or something else) while ensuring you only keep the desired video and audio tracks, then try appending the newly created files. It might give you some insight into what the problem is. ![]() You could also try demuxing (extracting) the video and audio streams from the two files you wish to join with tsmuxer, then append the two video streams together (with tsmuxer or MKVMergeGUI or VTVC etc), see if that plays okay, then do the same for the audio streams. Fix MTS Audio in Premiere Pro importing without audio Open Source Bug 20. That might help to work out what's going on. You probably should open a few files that won't append with MediaInfo, select text or html view, copy all the details and paste them here. ![]() The "no sound problem" could be a player not supporting a particular codec in a particular container or becoming confused over the number of channels. You can download freeware 'VLC Media Player' and should play the files with no problem, then set it as default media player for mts files. Seems the issue is with Windows/Windows Media Player. I'm pretty sure that can happen if the audio switches between mult-channel and stereo during commercial breaks etc, and it might cause appending issues. If audio is showing in Premiere, then theres nothing wrong with the camera or card. Chances are that you need AC3Filter because your clips use the AC3 codec (no native support in Lightworks). In the Audio section you should see AC-3, Audio Coding 3, or Dolby AC3. You can install AC3Filter right away or you can verify that your clips need it with EFC (View->Media Info) or MediaInfo. MKVMergeGUI usually offers some sort of explanation when it fails and I don't use ffmpeg enough myself to know for sure, but it seems likely it's error message is indicating the video streams don't match.Or maybe it's something simple like one m2ts file has 5.1ch audio while the next has 2ch. Chances are that you need AC3Filter because your clips use the AC3 codec (no native support in Lightworks). There's a lot of factors, but given you have some files that no program can join it'd seem to indicate they're not joinable. I've already merged many files with Video to Video successfully, but some of my files go faulty. NOTE: all files within the input directory will be attempted to be processed, so make sure they're all video files.MKVGUI didn't work for me and I still have the no-sound-output problem with it!Īnd I don't know what to do with the FFQueue's error! To give you guys more info here is what Media Info says about the source file: General ID : 0 Complete name : D:Adobe Prem CapturesSTREAM00050. It should also be fine with spaces in filenames and paths. Ive had no issues with any other file types, just these. The output directory must not be a child of the input directory or it will error, to stop accidental infinite recursion. It will retain the directory layout of the input folder, and you can set a max-depth for it to recurse through. These files will play with sound in Premiere and also Windows Live Movie Maker as well as Windows Media Player. Some articles on the web suggest using the CAT command, like: cat video1.mts video2.mts > wholevideo.mts However this doesn't work and according to FFMPEG, 'wholevideo.mts' is only 2 minutes long, not 4 minutes. There is always a second or two where the transition between one and the next MTS file isn't properly done the video stutters and the audio drops. ![]() You'll just get the mts files ready to be used. I have a suitable command line for converting MTS to MP4 but don't know how to join the files together in the first place. I don't know how you do it but I sure like to know because when I drop MTS files in a non-linear video editor like Openshot the files don't get properly merged/stitched. I have taken answer and turned it in to a recursive loop for all folders underneath the input folder. You won't get all those folders that you usually get when you try to take the files off the actual card. ![]()
